How Nancy Pelosi has failed to lead during the coronavirus crisis

In an effort to live up to my name as a Political Payne, and after sharing a good amount of my critique of the Republican Party and the right wing in American politics, it’s time to share my views on the Democratic Party and its response to the coronavirus crisis, and thusly annoy those on both sides of the partisan divide.

The party is led currently by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a representative from my home state of California, who is vilified countrywide by conservatives for being liberal, from San Francisco, and a woman. I have no insults or rage to spew Pelosi’s way—I care about policy and leadership, which she has clearly dropped the ball on in several respects during the pandemic.

From Pelosi’s outdated neoliberal approach to poor choices in messaging, I share some of my insights and critique in this video gleaned from following the maddening back-and-forth of Congress. If you do or don’t agree with me, I’d love to hear from you! Please comment here, on YouTube, or via email.

As always, thanks again for your eyes and ears!
